Abilities: She can use the Celestial Brush for her own Insta-Kill move, but can only use it ever so often, and it doesn't work on Gods. She also has a calming effect on most people.

Likes: Helping people pass into the afterlife, Amaterasu, Waka, the Celestial Brush Gods, twilight (the time of day).

Dislikes: Having to fight, being with lots of people at the same time, Yami, people thinking Kitsunes are evil.

Personality: Rather quiet, calm, collected, empathetic and wise.

History: Tomoegami lived with the Celestial Brush Gods in the Celestial Plain, but was untrusted by all except for Shiranui because she was a Kitsune. She was never really that close to Shiranui since she preferred to be on her own, but she found solace in the fact that someone liked her. When not on the Celestial Plain, Tomoegami can be found wandering in the Far North, near Ponc'tan, but is not easily seen due to blending in with the snow.
Tomoegami usually stays in the Celestial Plain, only descending to speak with Amaterasu. She has more tolerance for Issun than others, because she met him a few times on her walks by Ponc'tan, though usually it happened when she had no ink, which was how she kept herself to blend from everyone up there.
When the Ark of Yamato appears, Tomoegami speaks to Waka, whom she had first met back on the Celestial Plain, but had been neutral to before he left, about how she fears many lives will be lost. Waka convinces her to come back to the Celestial Plain with them, and she finally relents, going back to the plain and continuing with her normal job.
